Hi all,

I'm putting out feelers to see how many people have been affected by a problem (serious or otherwise) with swirl flaps (small plates in the inlet manifold that move, and in my case break off and fall into the engine) to gauge whether it would be worth putting legal (and media) pressure on BMW to correct this problem and / or compensate those affected.

If you have been affected by this problem please reply giving details of the vehicle (model, year, engine size) so I can work out whether there are enough of us for the company to take seriously.
