Coffee tables – boring places to put over sized books and pretentious magazines. Unless you happen to have a Re-Incarnate alloy wheel in your living room, that is.

Established by Mike Baker after his own M3 alloy wheel table drew a lot of attention and led to a large number of commissions, Re-Incarnate turns car and motorbike components into useable everyday objects.

Each design is completely bespoke, allowing customers to pick and choose whatever finish they desire, and in the case of coffee tables the majority of customers choose to have the aluminium base sprayed the same colour as their car though some have chosen to have the base colour matched to the interior décor of the room where the coffee table will live.

Each one features CNC-machined aluminium supports, toughened custom-cut tinted glass and a sprayed/lacquered base. Numerous optional extras are available such as the fitting of a disc and calliper, hidden LED lighting, a sandblasted logo or number plate on the glass.

You can either supply the wheel and tyre yourself or Re-Incarnate will supply a fully finished table for you with manufacture taking about six weeks in total.
